    • B. Whenever no NO TURN ON RED sign is posted
    • C. Never; only right turns are allowed on red

    D. Only from a one-way street onto another one-way street

After a full stop, you may turn left on red only when turning from a one-way street onto another one-way street. You must still yield to pedestrians and other vehicles.

  2. 2. You are waiting to turn left across stopped traffic, and a driver in that line waves you through. What should you do?

    • A. Turn quickly so the waving driver is not kept waiting
    • B. Turn only if you can see that no oncoming traffic is coming
    • C. Turn right away, since you have been given the right-of-way
    • D. Wave back and let the waving driver decide when you go

    B. Turn only if you can see that no oncoming traffic is coming

Being waved through can lead to a "courtesy crash." Oncoming traffic still has the right-of-way, so turn only when you can see the way is clear or all oncoming traffic is stopped.
