About the real test
What to expect on test day
Colorado's driving knowledge test can be taken online with the @Home test (webcam required, with an adult proxy for anyone under 19), at a DMV office, or at a driving school. It is offered in English and Spanish, and the online test allows 60 minutes. Online you may retake the test as often as you need, up to twice a day; the first online attempt costs $6.50, and retests add an $11.50 state fee. You can get an instruction permit at 15 with a 30-hour driver education course; a REAL ID permit costs $20. Colorado does not publish how many questions are on the test or the passing score, so there is no full-length mock exam here.
Every question here is written from the official Colorado Driver Handbook (DR 2337) and shows the page it comes from. Practice by topic or in mixed sets, then review the questions you missed.
