  1. On a road with one lane each way, overtake a single vehicle per pass rather than several in one move. (p. 53)
  2. Move back into the right lane when you see the front of the vehicle you passed in your rearview mirror. (p. 53)
  3. If you see vehicles, pedestrians, bridges, curves, hills, intersections or railroad crossings just ahead, do not pass; wait. (p. 53)
  4. Do not follow another vehicle that is passing a car in front of you; wait and pass on your own when it is safe. (p. 53)
  5. When passing a bicyclist, slow down, and when space allows keep at least 3 feet between your vehicle and the bicyclist. (p. 55)
  6. The acceleration lane lets you match your speed to that of Interstate traffic; do not stop unless there is no gap. (p. 59)
  7. If you become drowsy, stop and take a break; if you are truly sleepy, pull off and get some sleep at a motel. (p. 60)
  8. Keep driving to the following exit. (p. 60)
  9. Watch for vehicles entering the Interstate, and if it is safe, move left to give them a smooth, safe entry. (p. 60)
  10. Drive as far onto the right shoulder as possible, with all four wheels well off the road, and turn on your four-way flashers. (p. 61)

  3. 3.You are passing a large truck. When is it safe to pull back into its lane?

    • CWhen its whole cab shows in your mirror
    • DWhen your rear bumper passes its front
