About the real test
What to expect on test day
Mississippi's driver license exam is a computerized test taken in person at a Driver Service Bureau office, with headset audio that reads the questions aloud. You can get a learner's permit at 15; the permit costs $7 and is valid for 2 years. Drivers 17 and older may get the permit and the license on the same day. From July 1, 2027, driver's education will be required for all new drivers. Mississippi does not publish how many questions are on the exam or the passing score, so there is no full-length mock exam here.
Every question here is written from the official Mississippi Driver's License Manual and shows the page it comes from. Practice by topic or in mixed sets, then review the questions you missed.
