About the real test
What to expect on test day
Kentucky's permit knowledge test is taken in person at a Kentucky State Police regional testing location, by appointment, on a tablet with audio. You need a score of at least 80% to pass, and you must be at least 15 to get a permit. The test includes a road signs portion that you must answer without an interpreter or oral help. The standard test is offered in English and 11 other languages, including Spanish, Arabic and Swahili. Kentucky does not publish how many questions are on the test, so there is no full-length mock exam here.
Every question here is written from the official Kentucky Driver Manual and shows the page it comes from. Practice by topic or in mixed sets, then review the questions you missed.
